Summarized Review Highlights

Andomoozwe Outfitters, located north of Nakina, Ontario, carries a strong reputation built largely on the foundation of its predecessor, O'Sullivan Lake Outfitters, which operated for over 26 years before the current owners Patrick and Dave took over. Early reviews under the new ownership are positive, with guests describing the area as remote, secluded, and well-suited for both hunting and fishing. The staff — including Patrick, Dave, Cooper, and Josh — are consistently described as welcoming and helpful, and the outfitter appears to retain a loyal base of returning clients who come back year after year.

Guests praise the quality of fishing and hunting in the area. Walleye and pike fishing is described as plentiful, with even casual outings producing good numbers and respectable-sized fish. Bear hunting has also drawn positive feedback, with guests reporting successful harvests during spring hunts. The overall atmosphere is described as relaxed and social, with guests enjoying downtime together in the cabins. The owners themselves are upfront that the cabins are more rustic than high-end, and renovations and updates were underway at the time of the review, so accommodations may vary depending on when guests visit.

Based on available reviews, this destination appears best suited for bear hunters, walleye and pike anglers, and groups of friends looking for a remote, no-frills northern Ontario experience. It is likely a good fit for those who prioritize action on the water or in the field over luxury accommodations. First-time fly-in visitors should note that this is a drive-to camp, though its remoteness gives it a fly-in feel.
