Fly-in outpost operated by Northland Outpost Company (sister operation to Onaway Lodge), located on Darkwater Lake in Northwestern Ontario. A recently-built log cabin set in the pine trees on a tea-stained walleye-rich lake. The only outpost on the lake. Guests are flown from the dock at Onaway Lodge. Known for phenomenal walleye and northern pike fishing.

Lake Information

Darkwater Lake is a tea-stained waterbody approximately 6 miles long by 1 mile wide with 30 miles of shoreline. Average depths of 25 ft with areas to 45 ft holding trophy walleye. Fast action walleye fishing with a nice variety of sizes. Part of the Whitemud River system.
