McCrea Lake, Ontario — Near Ignace / Sioux Lookout
McCrea Lake is a deep, remote lake fed by three rivers. It features rocky reefs and long sandbars that gradually descend into deep water. Tremendous for walleye, northern pike, and the occasional lake trout. Accessible only by boat from main lodge with a portage.
Other: Four-burner propane stove with oven, electric refrigerator, electric freezer. Maps of the lakes available. Boats available on portage lakes at $28/day.
Outpost cabin accommodation (propane stove, electric fridge/freezer, electric lights, wood stove). Guests must bring own sleeping bag and pillow.
